As a youngster, Geoff held a door-to-door sales position where he quickly learned the importance of having thick skin and that rejection should not be taken personally. In a commission based retail sales role, he developed a series of consultative sales strategies that he still employs today. In this role, he brought over $5M in retail sales to his employer, all while completing his undergraduate degree.
At Wilfrid Laurier University, he majored in biology and psychology and started his leadership journey as President of his residence building and numerous other roles in student governance. Geoff then completed his MBA at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. He was elected as President of the DeGroote MBA Association and implemented leadership initiatives that are still ongoing today.
Geoff obtained corporate experience at two Fortune 500 companies though his co-op roles. His consulting career began at Focus Business Consulting, a student led consulting business. Geoff and his team developed, quoted, closed, and executed over $250K of consulting services over the course of a year. Upon graduation, Geoff spent a year working with a small consulting firm. He continued to recognize gaps in the market and launched his own consulting firm, Persistus Strategies.
Geoff is an active volunteer at Hillfield Strathallan College, where he is a member of the Board of Governors and Chair of the Board of Trustees.
